Shipping Details

  • IMPORTANT: DSSOrders.com is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments, including orders delayed at customs.
  • Because each country has different restrictions and procedures for products and packages, we encourage you to contact your local customs office for restrictions on specific items.
  • Upon shipment you will receive a USPS Tracking Number via email.
  • Shipping cost is based on weight and package dimensions.
  • International orders will not be split-shipped. They will only ship once all items are in-stock.
  • Tracking is available within the United States, but may or may not be available within the destination country.
  • We will not include a copy of your paid receipt inside the package. To obtain a printed copy of your receipt, print from your email confirmation or from My Account >> Orders & Returns.
  • We make every effort to ship orders on the first business day in which all ordered products are in-stock, though orders placed after 3:30 PM Central Standard Time may not be shipped until the following business day. Any order containing one or more products that are temporarily out of stock will usually be shipped within 2-3 business days.

Taxes & Charges

Our shipping cost will include transit and brokerage fees only. In addition to this cost, you may be billed by your local customs for import taxes and duty. DSSOrders.com is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or customs fees applied to your order by the receiving country.

Delays, Loss & Customs Hold

For packages returned to us due to customs, refusal, or non-delivery issues, we will refund the full cost of the undamaged items minus any shipping costs we incur for return shipping. In the case return shipping costs are greater than the order value, we will abandon the package and are unable to offer any refund.

We request you give your international order a full 4 weeks before contacting us.

International Shipping process details

Many customers want to know the specifics of how International Shipping works. The below information details International Shipping step by step:

  • Your package is carefully picked and packed at our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse.
  • Packages are picked up and scanned by USPS (United States Postal Service). Tracking Information is available at this point.
  • Your package begins its transit to the destination country.
  • Packages arrive at customs in your country and go through inspection. This step can cause significant delay based on how quickly customs is currently operating.
  • Packages are passed in to the local country postal system.
  • Package is delivered to your address.
  • Please note that the above steps are a general overview of the process and may vary based on the destination country.

Missing or damaged items

Less than 1% of packages are damaged during transit, but if you receive an order that contains damaged or missing items, please contact us immediately. We will request photos of the items, the invoice, and the packaging it came in. For missing items, we will investigate if the issue was caused by our mistake or if the item was confiscated by customs. When applicable, we will ask if you would like a refund or a replacement.

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for items that are seized during transit.

Returned packages & Refunds

If your package is returned to us for any reason, we will email you when we receive it and provide information about your options. Based on the reason for the return, we may double-check the shipping address with you and attempt the shipment again.

If your package is refused by customs and returned to DSSOrders.com, we will refund you the full amount, minus the shipping cost.

If we determine that a refund will be made but too much time has passed to process the refund through our payment processor, we will discuss options with you, including the possibility of offering a coupon for a discount on a future order.

International Shipping Delays

We have to rely on the destination country's postal system and customs. We typically ship orders very soon after being ordered, but once it arrives in the destination country, the customs process may take as long as 6-8 weeks. This is outside our control, so we kindly ask for your patience in allowing enough time for the package to be delivered.

In case of a delay, many customers find that taking the tracking number to the customs or postal office directly can help them receive their package sooner. However, since every country has its own restrictions and procedures for products and packages, we suggest you contact your local customs office to learn about any specific items that could be causing the delay in your order.
